Pipelines in LEADSORBIT help you track leads and opportunities step by step through different stages. Setting up pipelines correctly gives your team visibility on each lead and ensures follow ups are handled efficiently.
Create a New Pipeline
Follow these steps to create a pipeline from the Opportunities menu, the easiest way for users to access pipelines:
- Navigate to Opportunities → Pipelines from the main menu.
- Click the Create Pipeline button.
- Enter a Pipeline Name.
- Set pipeline display colors to customize how stage colors appear in your pipeline views:
- Default (no color)
- Colored dot
- Background tint
- Add the first stage for the pipeline.
- Click Save to create the pipeline.

Add and Manage Pipeline Stages
Stages represent steps that a lead moves through in the pipeline. You can add, edit, or reorder stages as needed.
- Click Add Stage.
- Enter the Stage Name (e.g., New Lead, Contacted, Proposal Sent, Closed).
- Drag stages to reorder them if needed.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

Edit or Delete a Pipeline
You can update pipelines or remove them if your process changes.
- Navigate to Opportunities → Pipelines.
- Locate the pipeline you want to modify.
- Click the three dot menu (⋮) next to the pipeline name.
- Select Edit to update the pipeline name or adjust stages, or select Delete to remove it.
- If deleting, confirm the action in the popup to permanently remove the pipeline.

Best Practices
- Keep stage names simple and aligned with your actual workflow.
- Avoid creating too many stages that are rarely used.
- Use display colors to visually distinguish stages for faster recognition.
- Review pipelines regularly to match your current business process.
- Use tags or custom fields to better organize leads within each stage.
Common Issues
- Pipeline not saving: Ensure the pipeline has a name and at least one stage before saving.
- Deleted pipeline still appearing: Refresh the page to confirm the pipeline was successfully deleted.
